All of these electrical issue began when my positive cable got loose on the battery. Fixed issues by clearing codes: dsc light, brake squeel light, tire monitor light (code shows steering angle sensor) Current issues. Airbag light stays on with 93db code. Steps taken 1.Reseat cable under passenger chair.
Speculative diagnosis. In any other car, I would guess this is a starter relay fault. Terminal 15N is post-start ignition on, and my guess is that the starter might be drawing too much power, causing the DME to brown out, causing all the above random shorts. The no other system (FEM, etc, etc) shows any faults on startup, so I might also
You could have issues with your steering angle sensor, or wheel speed sensor, either of which could need to be replaced. Another possibility that could be causing DSC problems is a poor connection at the battery. The system requires a fair amount of power to operate, and if the battery connection is poor it may not be getting the voltage it
5) The vehicle may start, but it stalls immediately. This might seem very strange, but in certain cases, the car might actually start for a brief moment and then immediately shut off. Again, this might seem like an engine or fuel pump-related problem, but it might actually be because of a CAS module that's acting up.
